Topic: Stories about the youth exchange

The organization had in the morning a painting eggs “operation”, where all the groups from all countries participated, but not only them, also the children of the neighbourhood where the organization is participated in this workshop. After talking a little about the meaning of the painted eggs and the technique involved all the people together with the children had lots of fun, using their imagination in making their egg the most beautiful. Joy and laughter everywhere, the participants became friends, admired each other’s egg even discovering that some of them are talented in decorating the eggs.

A short while after that, every country had to talk about this tradition of painting the eggs in the Easter. In this way they found out more about other countries’ tradition, new meanings of egg painting and even interesting ideas about this issue.

In the afternoon workshop we’ve been invited to see the way the fireworks for the Easter are made and all the procedures involved in making rockets, and also got the chance to see some rockets being fired before the event that takes place in Easter, event that is celebrated so spectacular in Chios island.
